About Ansty PYO and farm Shop
Originally the Pick Your Own consisted of...
…only four types of fruit: strawberries, raspberries, tayberries and blackcurrants. Over the years we have changed the farm significantly, we now grow a wide variety of fruit and vegetables for Pick Your Own or selecting freshly picked from the farm shop. Over the last 19 years we have greatly expanded and now have a busy Farm Shop, stocked full of home grown and locally produced goods.
We have a thriving Farm Shop Kitchen...
…baking lots of multi award winning yumminess: cakes, puddings, ready meals and jams. Our speciality is the famous Ansty Farm Shop meringue roulades, in particular the famous and multi gold winning roasted almond, raspberry and amaretti meringue roulade.
We also bake our own fresh bread 3 days a week. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays our Master Baker, Pete or K can be found hand making our delicious loaves. From our Special seeded loaf, the famous 5 seeds loaf, farmhouse, pizza, Chelsea buns and scrummy hand made Eccles cakes. Our exceptionally popular 5 seed loaf won us the accolade of the Taste of the Wests Best Savoury Bakery in the whole of the South West! We use only the best ingredients to give you teh very best fresh baked bread in the area!

We started out as dairy farmers...
…and took the Pick Your Own over as a diversification in 1988. So farming has been in the blood for generations! We wanted to offer people the opportunity to eat fresh home grown and home made goods. A lot of folk have no time or no space to have a garden, so this gives them the chance to eat produce straight from the field! We are able to offer our customers a zero mile food policy on all our home grown produce, (unless you count the 20 to 100 walking paces from picking to shop)!!!
