Winning News for Ansty Farm Shop

Occasionally we like to enter a few foody competitions to check we are up to standard!!  Recently with the addition of 2 small children to the family team we haven’t had so much time to enter, but when we do we’re pleased to say we do quite well!

Judges’ comment on the winning Roulade in 2016

“The judges loved the taste and said there was a great balance of meringue, fruit and cream. It tasted fresh and not at all like a frozen pudding. One judge commented it was by far and away ‘the nicest thing I’ve eaten today’!

5 seeds loaf

Judges’ comments on the 5 seed loaf 2013

“Lovely aroma, the smell of the ingredients really comes through.  Looks like a proper farmhouse loaf!  Quite a thin crust – very good!   Well proved – ‘wonderful’!   Good bit of malt (molasses as well) coming through – it tastes fantastic.  They have obviously worked hard on this product – doesn’t need any improvement”
